This Oscars show was one of the best I have ever seen. The old Hollywood feel was classic and well appreciated. The French stole the show with a number of wins for The Artist including best male actor with Jean Dujardin, and went on to win best film. There was something about The Kite Runner that left me feeling unsettled, above all else. I felt my entire body go numb and my fingers begin to shake as I was reading the book. From chapter four I finished the book in one sitting, neglecting to turn on the lights when dark fell and getting bedsores from my lack of movement. The book was heart-wrenching and made me want to vomit half the time....
