the 84th academy awards.
This Oscars show was one of the best I have ever seen. The old Hollywood feel was classic and well appreciated.  The French stole the show with a number of wins for The Artist including best male actor with Jean Dujardin, and went on to win best film.  Though i love Meryl Streep to death, it pains to me to say that I believe Rooney Mara deserved that Oscar tonight. Is it weird that I prefer holding sushi and biting into it, rather than having it cut out into smaller pieces for me. Currently; and very much happy in the process. I also try my best not to use question marks if I can avoid it, because I think they make sentences look incomplete. And ugly.  There’s something about making everything a statement that I like.

There was something about The Kite Runner that left me feeling unsettled, above all else.  I felt my entire body go numb and my fingers begin to shake as I was reading the book. From chapter four I finished the book in one sitting, neglecting to turn on the lights when dark fell and getting bedsores from my lack of movement.  The book was heart-wrenching and made me want to vomit half the time....
